Enter the F1 Motor Homes

It's the first Formula 1 race in Europe this season and that means the arrival of the teams' motor homes, new and old. The motor homes are a distinctive part of F1 culture today, as they have developed into castles of ingenious construction. They are used for everything from media relations to sponsor entertainment and from team dining to driver relaxation.

I took the opportunity of this first race in Europe to photograph all of the motor homes and describe a little about the way they are constructed and the functions they serve, and I placed the Formula 1 motor home image gallery in the Paddock Life section.
