New Ferrari Unveiled

Sunday January 6, 2008

The new Ferrari, unveiled today at Maranello, looks even better than the last one. And for Kimi Raikkonen, winner of the world championship last year, that means the fun should continue.

"I have still two years left and if I go on having fun, I'll stay here," said Raikkonen. "I really like Formula 1 and I have a brilliant team. We'll see. We want to start really well into a great season. We want to win again the world titles and we want to avoid retirements. This is the main feature to win against McLaren."

He also said he expected BMW to be up there with McLaren.

The F2008 is the 54th single-seater built by Ferrari to take part in the Formula 1 world championship. The design, codenamed internally as the 659, represents the Scuderia's interpretation of the regulations in force in 2008.
