McLaren Book
McLaren Mercedes may have had penalties against both its drivers at the French Grand Prix, but it also chose the same weekend to launch the publication of a new book to remind people that one weekend does not an F1 team make: On Friday at a 17th Century chateau the team presented "McLaren - The Cars 1964-2008." The book boasts a complete collection of photos of every car that McLaren made. And that, of course, takes in a lot more than just Formula 1.
Each car was studio-photographed by the book's author, William Taylor of Coterie Press (which published the book in association with McLaren), while archive and action photography was supplied photographers and photographic agencies. The foreword was written by Ron Dennis, a McLaren part-owner. The book may be purchased at the site of the publisher, above, or directly from the McLaren team store.
