Press Freedom In Mosley Case

Autosport does an interesting analysis of how the Max Mosley victory over invasion of his personal privacy in a court case in England actually helped press freedom, rather than the contrary.

I agree with the assessment of the judgement and with Judge Eady. This ruling does give the British press carte blanche when they do their job properly and accurately. Shoddy press needs to be weeded out and punished, as in this case, so the real press can be better trusted.
