The McLaren Mercedes motorhome is up for sale, and having worked in the place for several years as a reporter, I can vouch for its practicality and comfort as a working space. I'd buy it myself if I didn't have to pay a little more upkeep on my Ford than I expected this year.

12 trucks to transport facilities? I’m stunned. I had no idea. Absolute luxury in the midst of screaming engines. I wonder if the teams really “need” these facilities but, were I a part of the team, I know I’d certainly appreciate the surroundings! I can’t imagine, though, the cost. Simply amazing.
Yeah, Phil. I must admit that I too was pretty surprised about those 12 trucks too. I had no idea that it took so much to transport that thing. And that was the OLD motor home. I can’t imagine for the new one, but will have to ask.
Keep in mind though that as far as the luxury of that thing goes, it is not just something for the members of the team. Every Saturday they have a large number of members of the press coming in to interview the drivers in press conferences, they have sponsors to entertain, they have celebrities and local officials visiting, etc. So it really is a matter of being practical, too. Granted, McLaren did it better than anyone else, first.
