Honda Pulls Out Of F1
In a sudden, surprise decision the Honda car company announced today in Tokyo that it would leave Formula 1 racing. The team is up for sale, however, and Nick Fry, the chief executive, said that he has already had three serious people expressing interest in buying the team.
The Honda team finished in ninth position out of 10 teams this year. It had been in the process of rebuilding, and had hired Ross Brawn from Ferrari to revitalize the operation. But the company cited the current malaise in the car industry for its decision to pull out and focus on its core activities.

I am very suprised; even though they did finish ninth out of ten, they could have kept going. Then again with today’s economy anything is possible, but when it comes to racing for some that is when it really lets peopleknow from other nations that what were going through.
