Big News at Singapore Grand Prix

Sunday September 27, 2009

There is so much of it that it's hard to tell what the biggest news was at the Singapore Grand Prix. That Lewis Hamilton won in dominating fashion? That Sebastian Vettel and Mark Webber are even further away from challenging Jenson Button for the drivers' title and both had wonderful chances in this race before they were spoiled by bad luck? Or that Fernando Alonso, after all the problems at his Renault team in the past few weeks, finished third in the team's first podium finish of the year? And then he dedicated that to the disgraced Flavio Briatore, the former managing director who has left the team due to the cheating episode? Yeah, it all goes beyond the kind of thing you could imagine in a work of fiction, I'd say....
