Lewis Hamilton is in talks about staying with McLaren Mercedes next year, or going somewhere else. He has just won the Hungarian Grand Prix and earned his 19th victory trophy since he started in Formula 1 in 2007 at the McLaren team. The McLaren team, at its factory, has a massive collection of all the trophies won by the team and its drivers. The drivers are given replicas, and the team keeps the original.
Hamilton has just told the British press that he is trying to negotiate with the team that he keep his trophies. Knowing McLaren, I cannot imagine how the team would give in to Lewis's apparent demand that he keep the original and the team gets a replica! It will be interesting to watch....

I’m surprised I haven’t seen much on the fact that Hamilton “flipped off” the interviewer and entire F1 community during his post qualifying interview in Hungary. His finger gesture, as he was wiping his brow, was quite obvious to anyone watching. He may not have liked the comment the interviewer made, but please !!! He is in a high pressure high paying sport and we want to hear challenging, even controversial comments and questions. Unfortunately, Hamilton continues to show his lack of composure and maturity by blaming others, (including his own team), for everything and anything that doesn’t go his way. He is a talented driver, but he would see greater success if he would take his thumb out of his mouth, quit pouting and start to take responsibility for his own immature behavior.
Perhaps a deserved removal from the next few races by the F1 sanctioning body would assist him in a needed attitude adjustment!
I would appreciate anyone pointing me toward any articles or comments that address Hamilton’s finger gesture during the post qualifying interview. Thanks!
