Michael Schumacher was known for his technical knowledge and help with the team in Formula 1. But in his first love of go-karting, he did a lot of the technical work himself. He also acted as his brother Ralf's mechanic in kart racing. In fact, Schumacher is a trained, qualified mechanic.
