Lewis Hamilton at the Spanish Grand Prix

Spain was Lewis Hamilton's teammate's home race. But Hamilton had expressed a desire and an intention to win the race. He had finished third once, and second twice and only now needed that first victory. Fernando Alonso was not amused. Neither McLaren Mercedes driver would win the race, in the end, however, as victory would go to Felipe Massa in a Ferrari. Still, Hamilton upstaged Alonso by finishing second - while Alonso finished third.
