Youngest World Champion in F1 History

Fernando Alonso in 2006 became the youngest double world champion in Formula 1 history. He then joined McLaren Mercedes, the second most successful team in F1.

Fernando Alonso joined McLaren Mercedes in 2007 after winning the world drivers' title twice in a row at Renault.

Fernando Alonso became the youngest world champion in Formula One history in 2005. He then became the youngest double world champion the following season. He moved to McLaren Mercedes for 2007, joining Lewis Hamilton, a rookie, and the first half black driver in F1 history.
