McLaren-Mercedes Has Two of the Most Exciting Drivers in 2007
McLaren-Mercedes wasted no time publishing bios of its two new drivers for 2007: Fernando Alonso and Lewis Hamilton. Alonso was on contract with the Renault team until the end of 2006, and McLaren posted his bio at the beginning of January. Alonso is the reigning world champion and Hamilton, a rookie, is the first black driver in the sport, and he has won just about everything he has raced in.
