Spyker is not the richest team in the paddock. In fact, it is one of the poorest. It has changed hands a couple of times in the last couple of year. During that time, while under Midland ownership, the team introduced in 2006 its own version of a team motor home and hospitality area. Its external design makes it look as if it was intended to be a copy of the McLaren concept. But if this is so, it is the poor cousin copy. Both inside and outside, Spyker's motor home looks very much like a pre-fabricated temporary structure. But Spyker is certainly right in spending its limited budget on a car and not on a motor home, as the team is always amongst the last place finishers.
Through the several transitions in ownership this team has barely settled into its own motor home. The result is the oddest structure in the F1 paddock.
The strange prefabricated Spyker motor home, which outwardly appears to be conceived as a copy of the McLaren motor home. But it misses the mark.
