2009 Formula 1 Provisional World Championship Schedule of November

November Provisional Schedule

By Brad Spurgeon, About.com

The FIA released the third provisional schedule for the 2009 Formula 1 championship in November 2008.

The French Grand Prix is off the calendar again, after the organizers said they could not afford to run it.

But the biggest news - aside from some changes like putting the Chinese Grand Prix early in the season, instead of near the end - is that after the success of the Singapore night race in 2008, two more races will be run later in the day, if not at night. These are the races in Australia and in Malaysia. They will both start at 17:00 local time.

The final 2009 schedule will be announced in December.
